Els Hostalets de Pierola(Barcelona)

In Els Hostalets de Pierola (Barcelona), we are developing a ground-mounted photovoltaic solar plant connected to the grid with a storage system.
It will have an installed capacity of 3,467 kWp and a storage capacity of 8,944 kWh, divided into two batteries of 4,472 kWh each. The plant will occupy a total area of 78.1893 hectares, with an operational area of 4.5833 hectares.
This project is particularly innovative because it is executed on a closed landfill, which implies significant restrictions, such as the impossibility of digging trenches or using traditional foundations. For this reason, all electrical conduits will be surface-mounted, and the photovoltaic panels will be installed on high-density concrete block structures specifically designed for solar plants on closed landfills.

The photovoltaic installation will have 6,422 photovoltaic modules and 12 inverters with a total maximum power of 2,850 kW, ensuring efficient production and flexible storage of the generated energy.
Thanks to its uniqueness and innovation, the project has been subsidized with over €900,000, reinforcing the commitment to energy transition and sustainable development of the territory.
This plant not only uses a closed landfill to generate clean energy but also incorporates advanced technology to maximize efficiency and the safety of the entire system.
