Vila-Sana (Lleida)

The owner of a farm in the municipality of Vila-Sana needed to reduce energy costs, as the facility was not connected to the power grid and generated energy using diesel fuel.
In response to this situation, we carried out a detailed analysis of the client’s consumption and the farm’s needs, and the most optimal solution was to install a photovoltaic plant with an energy storage system.
The project was designed and executed with 935 modules of 580 Wp, 4 inverters of 115 kW and 3 batteries of 200 kWh.
The batteries allow the storage of the energy produced by the photovoltaic installation that is not directly consumed, so it can be used during periods of low or no solar production when energy demand still exists.

The financing of this installation was carried out through a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) model, via a company within the Soluxions Group. This system allows the client to enjoy all the benefits of the installation without having to assume the initial investment.
This PPA has a duration of 6 years and, once completed, the installation becomes the property of the client.
The project not only represents significant economic savings, but also reduces more than 225 tons of CO₂ per year, equivalent to planting more than 10,000 trees.
